Covenant Golf Classic a Hit

The inaugural Covenant Community Services “Hope in a Cup” Golf Classic was a hit with over 92 players enjoying the day and over $35,000.00 raised for the charity.

Rio Bravo Country Club was the host on a beautiful November day. The weather felt like Spring and the mood was festive and fun. The Covenant volunteers and staff kept the golfer’s well-nourished and hydrated during play and a great meal by Gear Grinder Grill filled the player’s hunger at the awards ceremony.

Top honors went to the team from Grapevine MSP. The highest scores were posted by the group led by Mr. Barber! The award plaques will be on display throughout the year at Covenant Coffee. The winning team will have their plaque in the lobby while the losers are relegated to the men’s restroom.
